Mya

We have a great bunch of dogs in for the vacation weeks. One in particular is a little red husky named Mya. I don’t have a lot of experience with huskies, honestly I’ve never been a big fan, but this one could win me over.
She has a look that she flashes me as she glances back over her shoulder…the 15 year old husky is about 30 or 40 feet away from me and facing the fence when she looks back. In that quick glance she tells me that if she were a couple of years younger, she’d hop that fence and the chase would be on…she’d be doing what huskies have been bred to do for 100’s of years…running. I’m sure my face is telling also…I hold my breath and ask her please don’t do it!…she seems to laugh, she looks away, and trots in the far end of the turnout.
